Successful Planting Season for Kale Varieties from Tozer Expected to Show Strong Growth

Tozer Seeds America is at the forefront of developing and breeding new kale varieties and is currently in the midst of their planting season for their traditional kale varieties. The Lacinato kale types, Black Magic and the new Mamba F1, in particular, are expected to show strong growth this harvesting season.

Black Magic is a variety of the very popular Black Kale (Cavolo Nero) with vastly improved uniformity and plant habit. Black Magic has striking dark, narrow, well textured leaves and improved bolting resistance and cold tolerance.  Tozer's newest variety, Mamba F1, is the latest in Tozer's hybrid Lacinato offerings.  Mamba F1 has an upright plant habit with good uniform leaves, high yielding, and is great for multiple harvests.  Mamba F1 has also shown good tolerance to foliar diseases.
